• It is best practice to ensure your Fine Jewelry is the last thing to be put on and the first thing to be taken off.
• Be sure to handle your jewelry with care throughout its wear including while putting on and taking off.
• Remove your jewelry when washing your hands and Avoid contact with Fragrance, alcohol, cosmetics, ammonia, chlorine or any corrosive products as that could permanently damage precious stones or metal.
• Consider removing your jewelry before going to sleep, and while practicing sports or any activities with potential for impact.
• Be sure to wipe your Jewelry to remove all residues before storing in its dedicated case.
• Keep your jewelry away from intense sources of heat and extreme temperature changes which can irreversibly damage precious stones.

Before putting on your piece of jewelry, examine it for a moment to check its condition:

• Check that the clasp (and its safety catch if it has one) open & close properly and is not "loose" Avoid forcing clasps, joints and metal frames.
• Check that stones are secure. To do so, gently move your finger over the stones. If the stones are loose, our jewellers will have to inspect the setting.
• If your jewelry suffers a shock or hit, the stone setting may need to be checked.
• If you have any concerns, it is advisable not to wear your piece of jewelry until you have had it checked by JANVARY Experts.

• Prevent damage or loss of your jewels by storing them individually in their dedicated case or travel pouch after wearing them.
• Chains should be closed and laid flat so as to prevent knots from forming.
• Pieces of jewelry can easily be scratched by contact with one another.
• You are strongly advised against placing several pieces of jewelry together without protection.
  

Perform the following jewelry care ritual regularly to preserve the brilliance of your JANVARY fine jewelry.

• Clean your fine jewelry by brushing delicately in lukewarm soapy water with a very soft bristle brush.
• Carefully rinse it in clean lukewarm water.
• Wipe it dry with a soft cloth immediately after.
